This policy explains what the Fresh N' Clean Laundromat pickup & delivery app ("the app") does with your information. It is operated by Fresh N' Clean Laundromat CORP, 107 Levittown Pkwy, Hicksville, NY 11801.
Information you give us
The only place the app asks for personal information is the Rewards tab, and only if you choose to create an account:
- Your name — so our staff can identify you at the counter.
- Your mobile number — this is your account identifier.
- A password — see "How your password is handled" below.
Everything else in the app — the laundromat list, prices, hours, and contact details — works without an account and without collecting anything.
Information created by using the rewards program
- Order amounts. When you place an order, our staff record the dollar amount against your mobile number so your rewards balance can grow. Staff enter this manually at the store; the app never reads your payment details.
- Rewards and coupon codes you have earned, claimed, or redeemed, and their expiry dates.
How your password is handled
Your password is never sent to our servers. Your phone runs the password through a one-way cryptographic function (PBKDF2, 250,000 iterations) and only the result of that calculation leaves your device. That result is then hashed again on our server with a secret key before it is stored. Neither we nor anyone who obtained our database could read your password.
Location
If you tap the option to sort laundromats by distance, the app asks your device for your location. That location is used only inside your phone to calculate how far each laundromat is. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is never stored. You can decline, and the app works normally.
Ordering happens on Cents, not here
The app does not process orders or payments. When you tap to place an order, you are taken to Cents (trycents.com), the ordering and payment platform our laundromat uses. Everything you enter there — your address, your card, and your delivery details — is collected and handled by Cents under their privacy policy, not this one. We never see your card number.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
- We do not use advertising networks, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels. The app is technically restricted from contacting any server other than our own.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or files.
- We do not send you marketing text messages.
Who can see your information
Only Fresh N' Clean staff, through a password-protected staff console, and only what they need in order to credit an order or honour a coupon: your name, your mobile number, your balance, and your lifetime spend. Your coupon codes are deliberately hidden from that screen. Every entry is logged against the staff member who made it.
Our data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure in the United States, which processes it on our behalf and for no purpose of its own. We will disclose information if we are legally required to.
Stored on your own device
The app keeps a few things in your phone's local browser storage: your sign-in session, and a private count of how many times the app has been opened (used to understand which laundromats are popular; this never leaves your device). Clearing the app's data removes all of it.
How long we keep it
Your rewards account is kept for as long as it is active, so that your balance is still there next time. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Deleting your account
Email fnclaundromat107@gmail.com or call (516) 390-9306 from the number on the account, and we will delete your name, mobile number, password, order history, and any unused coupons. Deletion is permanent, and any unclaimed rewards balance is lost with it. We complete requests within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details above. New York residents, and residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, have these rights by statute; we extend them to everyone. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them.
Children
The app is intended for adults arranging laundry service. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in the app.
